An airport car hire company beats waiting for a bus or train, especially for business people, or those looking to do a prolonged trip outwith the towns.

It’s particularly advantageous in cities such as Melbourne, which does not have a direct train service from the airport into town. Nevertheless, even in Sydney, with its fast airport train service, if you plan on doing much traveling in and out of town, and have to stay on time, and want the control options a car hire service can offer, then renting a car at the airport is your best choice.

Around greater Melbourne and Victoria, Melbourne airport car hire will permit you to stick to your own touring schedule. Having an airport car rental in Australia is also a good idea for a different factor. For instance, a Toyota Corolla compact rents for $316/week on Drive Now, however you can search around online and almost certainly find an even better deal than that on Economy class car rentals.

A car rental situation is the best for traveling if your plans include visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or some other Australian cities, and more especially if you want to head to numerous cities down under. Whether you’re visiting for enjoyment, business or both, a car hire Melbourne Airport style will offer you the best transport circumstances. See Melbourne, one of the world’s top rated cities for all round quality of living. Remove the long waits for a train or bus, and get yourself behind the wheel of a cheap yet trustworthy car rental service when paying a visit to Australia.

The Whitest Whites

It’s the last week in June which means solely one thing. Wimbledon has arrived! It’s the half a month in the yr where people decide to find their tennis rackets, find their whitest whites and take on the inescapable showers to exercise their back hand and volley. Man and Van Wimbledon is devoted to giving out the most efficient and economical service purchasable even when SW19 stuffed with tourists. Man and Vans, London’s leading light removal service, is situated in South West London and actually enjoys helping its neighbours with any light removals they may have. Man with Van Wimbledon could be too busy to take to the courts this summer but here at Man and Vans headquarters we’re exceedingly thrilled about Wimbledon’s new Centre Court Ceiling. Although Man with Van Wimbledon will get down to work in the rain, Rafael, Roger and Andy have never been too keen to brave heavy rain. Fortunately this yr there’ll be no need for Cliff Richards’ services as, from the 17th May, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Association has been using its new retractable roof. Health and Safety tests on the court were borne by the infamous Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Tim Henman and Kim Clijsters, who took part in an exhibition game of mixed doubles as the timely rain dabbed the roof as it shut.

A Greek Tradition

Cyprus has been home to many cultures over the ages, but to most of us simply know it as a great hotspot, which has made it a very popular destination with tourists, with over 2.4 million visiting the republic. Cyprus basks is more than 330 clorious days of sun each year, which has given it the name The Island of the Sun. There is no shortage of travel companies able to arrange Cyprus holidays and budget airlines such as Easyjet offering routes to Paphos and Larnaca, getting there is cheaper than ever.

While attracting visitors from around the world, most of them tend to be Europeans. In recent years Russians and Poles have become poolside regulars alongside the French, Germans and, of course, us Brits.. One of the main reasons why there is such a heavy presence of Brits in Cyprus is because of the positioning of the British Armed forces in the southern Greek part of the island. The UK retains a military base in order to have a gateway for forces to the Middle East. As such the Brits are now almost as local and the locals, and this has in turned resulted in areas that are less traditional and more contemporary in culture. From English being spoken everywhere you go, to driving on the left side of the road. No doubt the similarity to the UK makes us Brits feel more at home, but in a more favourable climate.

For many reading this, the prospect of taking a holiday away from England only to be greeted at the airport by a hire car representative hailing from Croydon and being served an authentic Mediterranean dish of steak and chips will not appeal. However, this side of Cyprus, that continues to attract millions of tourists year after year, is only one aspect of the island and is concentrated around the tourist hotspots of Paphos, Larnaca and Ayia Napa. As soon as you leave the packaged paradise and clubbers haven of these areas and hit the road the real country reveals itself.

If your fancy cooling off, and seeing something different take a trip up to the Troodos Mountains. In the heart of the mountains you will find the Kykkos monastery, a UNESCO world heritage site since 1998. Housing art and exhibits on ancient Greece, the monastery has the twin function of being a museum for visitors and a practising monastery lived in by worshiping monks. If you are a wine lover, there are treats in store for you. A daytrip to the Troodos Mountains can be a welcome change from the beach and with overnight accommodation available in many of the authentic villages dotted about; you might want to spend a few days here sampling another side of Cyprus.
