The Remarkable Accomplishments of Mr Nicholas Bredimus
Born in New Jersey, Mr Nicholas Bredimus looked at software, hospitality, and airlines together and revolutionized these industries. He has worked on projects ranging from the creation of time-saving computer programs to increasing aircraft safety and even designs for high value homes.
You could have foreseen, however, that with his family tree he was always likely to rise to distinction. Its lines can be followed back to classical times and in fact Nicholas’ family tree ties in with many countries within Europe. On his mother’s side he boasts German and Scottish ancestry. England and Luxembourg provided home to his father’s family, although during the 1800s his family set off for America. This passionate spirit would serve them well on arrival in America. Part of a family of seven siblings — four girls and three boys — Nicholas had a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who earned her living as a practicing nurse. He would spend much of his life in cities across several states.
So what did Bredimus do with his pedigree and schooling? He would soon embark on a series of prominent roles, all working with distinguished airlines. Nicholas became a vice president with businesses like Trans World Airlines (TWA), Hughes Airwest, and Republic Airlines. Most celebrated, even considering this, was his effort as a visionary software architect working with the airline industry.
His groundbreaking innovations in the field of airplane maintenance programs, now used throughout the air travel business while initially coded for one specific firm, ultimately resulted in what is probably his most popular program. But this stands as just one of his memorable designs for the hotel business. The booking programs he designed are on their way to stand alongside the aforementioned program as a standard, while the hotel reservation program he designed made it possible for hotels to deploy the very first pc based technology. He also coded QuikTix, an automated ticketing network. He parlayed these successes into capacities not related to software development, and we should note that he continued to shine. Major positions with American Airlines and American Express followed, and of course he launched his own company in the early 1990s.
